What anime did you think would be horrible, but turned out amazing after watching it?

Heroic Age just because I had never heard of it. But it actually turned out to be a really amazing sci-fi/ mech anime. If you haven't seen it you'll definitely love it. It has slight romance which is good because everyone who is way into romance animes is either gay, desperate, lonely, or hopeless. This one is mainly centered around the action and plot to the story with a slight romance that develops into a happy ending. Definitely a winner in my book so check it out. Also the best anime sight i've found with the fastest streaming would be watchanimeon.com and I'm sure they'll have it if you wana check it out.
