Opinions of the use of Nudity in Theatre?

Hi there, I gotta say this struck a bit of a chord with me as I too have found nudity on stage stangely intriguing. maybe the comment about purience is right, hadn't looked at it that way. I'm a straight girl but love to see both male and female nudity on stage, I don't regard myself as overtly sexual but wouldn't call myself repressed in any way. I'm not sure I could do it in front of so many people, then again I have friends, both male and female who have done it.
