Why do most religions Requier or promot modest dress?

I mean like super religious peopl will wear long sleeves, women will wear skirts and men long pants winter and summer, and they cover most of their body. This is in most monothesitic religions such as islam cristanity and judism. Im not saying everyone who practices these dress like this, im cristian myself and i dont, but many very strict ones do. But heres what i dont understand, God made us naked! Therfor it is the most natural way to be and makes one closer to god, right? I mean if he didnt want people to show their bodies he would have coverd adam and eve up straight away but he didnt. Clothing is a symbol of mans sin is it not, it was only worn after they tSted the forbidden fruit and became aware and embarased of their nudity. But they became embarased, god was never embarased by their nakedness he obviously thought it was natural and right. Therefore with that logic wouldnt more clotheing be closer asscociating yoursf with the sin of early man, while less would be closer to the natural state that the lord made us? Just throwing the idea out there i really hatr it when super religious people get all huffy abouy a girl wearing knee legth shorts and a t-shirt saying its sinful....
