Poptropica Costumizer Help?

So, I was playing the Red Dragon Island one, and I decided I wanted to look Japanese. I costumized into some random woman's kimono and hair, but then I saw these three people with really pretty clothes. But when I clicked on them after it said, "Select a Character" they seriously just started dancing. Any way I can costumize without clicking on them? Thanks :)
