How to correctly set content settings.?

I need to set content settings on a work computer to not allow someone to see porn. I set them for 0 on nudity and sexual content, but it made the pc so sensitive that it wouldn't even display msn without a password. Even that was a bit of a struggle. If anyone can help I'd appreciate it.
